Yet an increase in belly fat can do more than just making you old. Many Researches have indicated that belly fat also increases the risk of cardiovascular disease, diabetes, certain cancers — even premature death.

The good news? The threats posed by belly fat can be cut down to size, below are some quick tips, which could be used with great ease.

1. Eat whole grains, Since they are good for reducing excess pounds on the waistline.

2. Do eat breakfast to give you energy and to prevent you from bringing during the later part of the day when your metabolism does not work as fast as it does during mornings.

3. Eat more frequently.

4. Avoid starvation at all costs, as this signals your body to get into famine mode and thus the body holds fat very effectively. If you eat more frequently with the right combination of food, there is no doubt you will definitely speed up the fat burning process and gradually lose tummy fat real quick

5. Running is considered to be the best exercise to reduce stomach, and the easiest so far; for eliminating excess fat in the stomach. Swimming is another exercise when you want to lose those stored and extra fats around the belly,  As it is also an activity to burn calories. Another great exercise to reduce belly fat which women find very effective but not that simple to do is the abdominal crunch.

6. The suggested amount of water to drink is around 33 ml of water for every kg of body weight i.e. 2.3 liters for a 70 kg person (around 1/2 ounce for every pound i.e. 60 oz for a 120 lb person). Much of your body is made up of water. Not drinking enough water will leave you  dehydrated. Since weight loss depends on how the body eliminates wastes, the body must stay hydrated.

7. There are medicine and surgeries available incase your diet, exercise and lifestyle modification are not giving you benefit. Consult a physician.
